Back to Germany
We're going back to Germany today. We didn't want to spend too much time here because the apartment we're staying at is about as big as my nana's old apartment, minus the bedroom.

Wow, now that is what I call a SMALL apartment. :-) at least you saw some of Austria including the Capital (at least I think Vienna is the Capital). I pressume it is still fairly hot where you are? It is supposed to be 36C here tomorrow, so that should be fun.
Today is my last official day at work, and I am considered "retired" starting tomorrow. Will be going in to work as normal though, as a Contractor.
btw, not sure if you saw it, but Aunt Adele made a couple of comments in your blog, but I think it was on the very first posting.

Yep Vienna is the capital. We saw the parlament buildings and the UN headquaters for Europe. Its supposed to cool down here for the next few days so enjoy the hot weather we've been having!

Mom and I just went for a morning walk, but it was tough since at 6am it is 26C and humidex is at 38C already.

Yeah it was really cool today. I actually needed a jacket this evening. Looks like we sent the hot weather over there.

Hope you're taking a lot of pictures over there - the head has been terrible here too but supposed to get a break tomorrow. Hope so as Steve and family and Lori and part of her family are coming Friday for heritage weekend.
You are seeing some gorgeous things over there and hopefully how people live their lives which can be very different from ours. How about the food - have you tried any really different dishes? Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a safe t rip home - Hi to Leanne
