A Good Friday to remember

Well this past Easter weekend I was in Port Elgin to visit my relatives and Good Friday brought on a freak hail storm the likes of which no one had ever seen. There was at least golf ball size hail and no one's car escaped its wrath. I won't go into too much detail about it because some of my family already posted quite lengthy posts about it. But I have a video! Hurrah!

Make sure you have sound on before watching. You get the best effect that way.

Thanks for re-creating that Good Friday to remember Marc. It was a time to remember the awesome power of God and nature.

Great video Marc! The sound is amazing as those hail stones hit the roof and the cars! Apparently there was a lot of damage done to the new cars in the GM dealership lot!

Oh, man. That would be quite the insurance claim!

Thanks for the experience Marc. I'm glad I wasn't there! (Well I would have liked to be there with you fine people, of course, but only if my car were parked in the garage!) Happy insurance claiming all of you!

Yes, unless we choose not to get the repairs done, which means we will have a permanent souvenir of Good Friday 2006!

Wow. That video is amazing! I couldn't believe it when you showed the road and it was incredible to see the splashes the hail was making in the puddles! And it was also amazing to see the huge divots in the lawn! Crazy!

Yeah it would have been nicer if it was in the day too but oh well. I'm glad my car wasn't there since its about 20% Bondo :)

Yeah... I'm never going to forget that hail storm. It was frightening in an exhilarating way.

Just "20% Bondo"? You're optimistic! ;)

Leanne said, "It was frightening in an exhilarating way." Yeah, kind of like a near-death experience. You feel so good when it's over.

Hey Marc, why don't you put a link to your band's site on your blog?
